National Player Profile

It’s your resume!! Take it serious! Start the recruiting process off with a Player Profile highlighting your student-athletes important information. This is your resume identifying who you are as a student-athlete and a way of introducing yourself to prospective college coaches. The Player Profile must be true and filled with information that will catch the attention of college coaches. This can be the beginning of your relationship with college baseball programs and Baseball Recruiters to help pave the path to a college baseball experience. As a member of the Baseball Recruiters’ team, you will be placed in our National Player Database that is distributed to college coaches across the country.

Baseball Recruiters provides a Free Player Profile to all Players. Our profile acts as a landing page with your own URL. Each player will be able to send their personal link to any coach they desire. Coaches and Recruiters do not have to sign in and/or search for you. It is like you are handing them your personal resume. This landing page is possibly the first encounter that someone is going to have with you, and you will want that first impression to be professional and make the visitor want to know more about you. When it comes to online personal recognition, the creation of Player Profile is absolutely essential. Whether you are just trying to get more exposure online or connect with colleges or professional organizations, online profiles are the way to go as they will rank in search engine results when people search for your name.

Do the research up front so your efforts are better focused on your personal goals and objectives. Understanding the athletic needs and the academic profiles of specific institutions are the best way to market your skill set to a coach. If you have a specific major such as engineering or pre-med, you should make sure the school has that academic program. If not, you are just wasting that coach’s time. Likewise, do some research about an athletic team’s graduating class and incoming recruits. If you are a Catcher and you see a program that has just recently signed several Catchers, it’s likely that a coach will not be able to offer you a scholarship.
