This PP provides notice regarding our collection and use of PII. You may choose whether or not to provide PII to us. If you choose not to provide the requested PII, you can still visit and utilize most parts of our website, but you may be unable to access certain options and services that involve our interface with you.
Our services may change from time to time. As a result, it may be necessary for us to make changes to this PP. You are advised to consult this PP regularly for any changes. Each time you access our website or each time you provide us with information, you are accepting the practices described in this PP as in effect at that time. If you do not agree to this PP you may not access or otherwise use this website or participate in our services. This PP was last updated as indicated at the beginning of this policy statement.
If at any point we decide to use any particular PII in a manner that differs from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email or by providing 30 days’ notice on our website. Please note that we continue to have the right to change our PP and practices, including how we use your PII, without notice, as described in the preceding paragraph of this PP, provided that such changes shall only apply to information gathered on or after the date of the change. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our website and this PP to check for any changes.

USE OF OUR WEBSITE AND COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
In general, you may visit and use Baseball Recruiters’ website without telling us who you are and without revealing any PII about yourself. However, you may be asked to provide PII, and we may collect and maintain your PII, if you request that we contact you, if you subscribe to email newsletters or our similar communications, if you apply or register to receive our services or if you wish to participate in or receive other products, services or information through our website. You can decline to provide your PII to us, in which case you may not be able to access certain parts of our website and we may not be able to provide certain services to you.
We may collect PII from you through our website in various ways, such as by asking you specific questions, by permitting you to communicate directly with us via e-mail or feedback forms or by providing online registration forms, questionnaires or other materials which solicit PII.
PII submitted on this website primarily consists of three sub-categories: Public Information and Private Information.
Private Information. “Private Information” is Personal Information that you provide that we do not share with other Service users. This includes, but is not limited to, your Social Security number, password, privacy settings, credit card number, and billing and shipping information.
HOW WE MAY USE OR SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The most important benefit of using this website and our services is the ability to proactively gain exposure and connect to individuals, institutions and organizations that can assist with your collegiate recruiting and admission process. Our website may also provide opportunities for you and other users of Baseball Recruiters to connect with each other socially and to view each other’s profiles. To achieve this, the Personal Information you provide may be shared with other users and/or select third parties as described in this PP.
A core function of this website is connecting users with college coaches and other users, so sufficient information needs to be presented to help each side to decide if it’s worth making a connection. Therefore, when you apply or register through our website to receive Baseball Recruiters’ services, you are agreeing that Baseball Recruiters may share your Personal Information with other users and with third parties as necessary to provide our services to you (such as when a student-athlete’s PII is provided to a college coach or athletic director for evaluation).
In addition to the foregoing, Baseball Recruiters may use and share your PII as follows:
• To provide our services to you.
• To respond to communications, inquiries and requests from you, such as responding to an email you send to us.
• To send you newsletters, as well as other advertising, marketing and promotional materials and communications.
• To inform you of products, services and promotions for Baseball Recruiters or third parties.
• To offer you information regarding certain products and services of our partners, sponsors, advertisers and affiliates.
• To conduct transactions with you through our website.
Additionally, Baseball Recruiters may use and share your PII with, and you may also receive information from, nonprofit and for profit companies and organizations and government agencies, including, but not limited to, (i) educational products and services (e.g. student loans, financial aid, college admissions and tutorial services, and extra-curricular enrichment and recognition programs); (ii) career, employment, and military opportunities; (iii) athletic apparel and equipment companies; and (iv) camps. Except as set forth herein, Baseball Recruiters does not sell your information to commercial marketers offering to sell you non-education and/or non-sports related products and services, unless you choose to opt in to these services by responding to an advertisement.
We will not otherwise share your PII with any other third parties, without your consent, except in the following circumstances:
• In the event that we are party to a business transition, such as a merger, divestiture, acquisition, liquidation or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your PII, in most instances, will be part of the assets transferred.
• To respond to law enforcement requests or, where required by applicable laws, court orders or government regulations.
If you do not want your PII shared with any third party who may use such information for direct marketing purposes, then you may opt out of such disclosures by sending an email to us at email@example.com subject Opt Out.
COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONALINFORMATION
Baseball Recruiters also may collect and maintain information from you that is not PII. Such non-PII may be used for many purposes, including marketing, demographic and/or statistical purposes, and we may share such non-PII with third parties. We may use aggregate non-PIIo better design our website, and we may share such information with our partners, sponsors, advertisers and affiliates. For example, we may tell an advertiser that “X” number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that “Y” number of men and “Z” number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose any PII that could be used to identify those individuals.
Baseball Recruiters’ website may use “cookies” and other tracking technologies. A “cookie” is a small text file stored on your computer that may be used, for example, to collect information about website activity. Some cookies and other technologies may serve to recall PII previously indicated by a user.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. You may set most browsers to notify you if you receive a cookie, or you may choose to block cookies with your browser, but please note that if you choose to erase or block your cookies, you may be unable to use those services or engage in activities on our website that require the placement of cookies.
Tracking technologies may record information such as Internet domain and host names, Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser software and operating system types, clickstream patterns and dates and times that our website is accessed.
USE OF IP ADDRESSES
An IP address is a number that is assigned automatically to your computer whenever you use the Internet. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. Baseball Recruiters may collect IP addresses for system administration, to report aggregate information to our advertisers, affiliates and partners and to audit the use of our website. When users request pages from our website, our servers log the users’ IP addresses. We typically do not link IP addresses to PII. This means that a user’s session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us. We can and will use IP addresses to identify a visitor if required by law, when disclosure is required to maintain the security and integrity of our website or to protect any user’s security or the security of other persons, consistent with applicable laws.
Due to the inherent open nature of the internet, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result of this and other factors beyond our control, we cannot ensure or otherwise warrant the security of any PII or other information you provide to us through our website. Therefore, you assume that risk by using our website. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask that you not share your password with anyone. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our website.
ACCESS/ACCURACY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
To the extent that you provide us with PII, we wish to maintain accurate PII. Where we collect PII from you on our website, our goal is to provide a means for updating or correcting that PII. You can access and update your PII by logging into your online account and making the appropriate updates. If you have forgotten your login credentials you can retrieve those via our automated password retrieval system.
LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
Our website may contain links or references to third party owned and/or operated websites that we believe might be of interest to users, including websites of our partners, sponsors, advertisers and affiliates. We do not control the content of these third party websites. These third party websites may send you their own cookies, collect data or solicit PII. Once you have clicked on a link to a third party website and leave our website, you must read the PP of the third party website to see how your PII will be handled.
